Under-Graduate Studies:
The students who have completed intermediate from B.I.S.E or A-Level + 1 year university education is eligible to apply in Norway for under-graduate programme.
GSU-list should be checked for additional requirements to apply in Norway universities.
For some specialist fields of study from secondary school some additional admission requirements may be required by Norway educational institutions. Students should check with the institution for information about these special qualifications.
Masters Programmes:
16 years of education in Bangladesh is required to apply in master degree programs in Norway for Bangladeshi students. (Master of Arts, Master of Science, Bachelor with Honours, such as BBA, BCS and Bachelor of Science Honours).
Admission requirements can be varied from different universities and university college based on an academic evaluation of the applicant. Top ranked universities demands good study background but in other universities admission criteria is bit low.
The program you will be applied for must be relevant to your studies. Normally degree must include courses equal to at least 1 1/2 years of full-time studies in a subject relevant to that of the programme applied for. In some cases, work experience counts as study relevancy or education.
PhD Programmes:
For Phd. or Philosophy of Doctorate 18 years of education (M.S, MPhil, or equal) from Bangladesh is required to apply for PhD programs in Norway.
PhD position announces on university website and you have to write the research proposal which is accepted by prospective supervisor and committee. However, in Norway PhD students consider as an employee of the university and get paid full salary from average 407,000 NOK to 530,000 NOK/ year depends on your research project, university and other factors. Permanent residence (PR) is granted after completion of PhD and paying 3 years of full time job tax.
Language requirement is compulsory if you want to get admission in Norway on any study level. But if you are applying for PhD there is no language requirement. if you completed your Masters or MPhil. In Natural Science, Engineering, Medical, Computer Science and IT. It is always a good idea to get in touch with the respective university department before applying.
MBBS in Norway for Bangladeshi students
Norwegian Universities do no offer any MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery) program in English language.
However, Universities in Norway offer many master study programs related to Medical and Health education for international students. As we already mention above there is no tuition fee for studying in Norway so you can do Masters in Norway without paying the tuition fee
